INJURY REPORT (Info also from PeteAbe)

  • Jeter is in the lineup today after leaving yesterday's game in the first inning after being hit in the foot by a pitch.
  • Posada is not playing today, as he has two sore fingers, but that is just they're latest reasoning for having Molina catch Sabathia.
  • A-Rod is unavailable tonight after being hit in the elbow at the end of yesterday's game.
  • Adrian Beltre is possibly done for the season after being hit where the sun don't shine while not wearing a cup.
It's a West Coast game, which is why it's starting at 10 PM. If I don't fall asleep at the wheel like did the last time I tried blogging a 10 o'clock game, I'll put a recap up.

UPDATE 10:17: Does it surprise anyone that Michael Kay isn't announcing this series? Yeah, I didn't think so.

UPDATE 10:54: Wasn't that the same part of the field that Griffey said was the hardest part of the field to hit it out? Top of the lineup seems locked in on Snell now.
