UPDATE 9:20: I've had a long day today, but the Yanks have something stirring in the bottom of the seventh. Jeter got a leadoff single and now Teixeira comes up with 1-out as the Yanks trail 4-3.
UPDATE 9:25: So much for that.
UPDATE 9:44: The Yankees have awoken from the Boston Hangover as Matsui and Posada go back-to-back to take a 5-4 lead. That is now 3 consecutive games the Yankees have hit back to back home runs. If I were actual media they'd be giving me info on the last time that has happened. Now Gaston is arguing a fan interfered but replays showed the ball sailed over Englund's glove and into the fans glove so it should stand.
UPDATE 9:48: And now Michael Kay informs us that it is the first time since 1983 the Yankees have gone back-to-back in 3 consecutive games.
UPDATE 9:55: Melky singles making it 6-4. Btw, here's the video of Kevin Youkillis getting set straight by Jersey born and bred Rick Porcello earlier today. What a coward, who throws their helmet at a 20-year old kid half their size?
UPDATE 10:04: He had to give up a run sometime I guess. That's the first run he's given up since June 12. But hey, it's 7-5 and they're 2 outs away from a W, so if he's going ot give up a run, rather be it this game.
