Yankees vs Rays Weather Update

Well, I just got back from a 6-mile run in the pouring rain, and if it continues to rain this hard I do not think there will be baseball today. According to weather reports the heavy part of the rain should be over by 6 p.m. There will still be scattered showers throughout the evening so expect the start of the game to be delayed. Personally, I think they are better off calling the game if the rain is not expected to stop. If Sabathia goes out and throws 3 innings and the game is called, then the Yankees would have wasted a start by Sabathia. A double-header tommorow would be the ideal situation if I was in charge...but I'm not.
