PLAY OF THE GAME: Mark Teixeira cutting down Cezar Izturis at the plate to keep the game tied in the top of the 8th inning.
TURNING POINT OF THE GAME: Hideki Matsui's walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the ninth to win the game.

- Eric Hinske has hit 4 home runs in his first 5 games with the Yankees. That hasn't been done since 1977, when Dave Kingman did it.
