UPDATE 8:27: Not much to update. I missed how the Rays scored their last two runs, but from what I understand, the Yankees defense has been very poor today. 3-1 Rays bottom 4.
UPDATE 8:31: Are tehe Yankees advertising for Dos Equis? Or do Michael Kay and Ken Singleton just like that commerical? I ask this because they are quoting it.
UPDATE 8:48: CC is not pitching like CC today. And now Swisher screws up a catch and there is a runner on third 4-1 Rays.
UPDATE 9:10; This game is a lost cause. Sabathia pitched poorly and the Yankees defense, particularly Nick Swisher, are playing like Little Leaguers today. Don't expect another update unless they start making a comeback.
UPDATE 9:26: I lied. I am now updating on something totally unrelated Yankees thing, but a great baseball story. Mark Buerhle has now retired 43 consecutive batters, breaking the old major league-record of 41 set by his teammate Bobby Jenks. Obviously Jenks was a reliever, so this makes Buerhle's accomplishment that more impressive. Buerhle is perfect through 5 innings against the Twins.
