Hello, Johnny: The Yankees will face Johnny Damon for the first time since he left the Yankees after five seasons with the team. The game is an away game so we're still going to have to wait to see the reaction he gets from the Yankees fans. Johnny was close to alot of guys on teh team so I'm sure they'll all be happy to see him.
And Hello, Sergio: Sergio Mitre makes the spot start today for the aching Andy Pettitte. Mitre had an impressive spring, but has been rarely used this season. It'll be interesting to see how he does.
AAA Reunion: The Yankees called up Ivan Nova to give them a long reliever in the pen. Austin Jackson is on the Tigers and Yankees utility man Kevin Russo had lockers next to each other in Scranton. The three of them all played together in the minors, and are all in the same ballpark today at the major league level.
