Home of Champions: The Yankees will receive their rings and raise their 27th World Championship flag during the pre-game ceremonies today. Opening Day is always a special game at Yankee Stadium, and opening it up celebrating a World Series Championship should be a great sight.
He's Been Here Before: Andy Pettitte has pitched on Opening Day at Yankee Stadium three times. He is 3-0 with a 3.00 ERA, so he's had success in this position before and shouldn't be overwhelmed by the ceremonies.
Welcoming Back the Sayanora Kid: World Series MVP Hideki Matsui returns to Yankee Stadium today wearing the Angels gray and red. Matsui established himself as a postseason hero last year and my prediction is he receives one of the biggest ovations of the day.

Also, anything written about broadcaster/on-air personalities is all in good fun and meant to be taken as a joke.
