Round 2 for Hughes: Hughes takes the mound for the second time this season, and hopes to build off his first start.

Sturdy Bridge: The Yankees are 8-0 this season leading after 6 innings.

Weather in Oakland: Apparently there is a 50 % chance of rain in Oakland tonight, so that will be something to keep an eye on.

I don't even get the post up, and Jeter hits the first pitch. Good omen.

Update 11:40: John here. Guess everyone wont going to bed early tonight. Call your friends and get them up Hughes working on something good here. Nine strikeouts too. He's filthy tonight.

Update 11:54: He's good through 7 if you catch my drift. Wake your friends up Hughes is six outs away from something big.

Update 12:08: Line drive right back at Hughes, hit his glove and he didn't know where it was. Infield single breaks up the no no. However, Hughes just struck out his 10th batter, a new career high.
