YANKEES (51-35, Second Place AL East)

Damon LF
Teixeira 1B
Rodriguez 3B
Matsui DH
Posada C
Cano 2B
Hinske RF
Gardner CF
Pitching: LHP Andy Pettitte (8-4, 4.53).

ANGELS (47-37, Second Place AL West)
Figgins DH
Aybar SS
Abreu RF
Napoli C
Morales 1B
Matthews CF
Kendrick 2B
Wood 3B
Quinlan LF
Pitching: RHP Jered Weaver (9-3, 3.15),

TIME/TV: 4:10 p.m. (ET), FOX.

Awful in Anaheim: The Yankees have won two games in Anaheim over the last three years, and are 5-15 in their last 5 years.
Andy on the Road: Pettitte is 4-1 with a 2.79 ERA on the road this season. He is 6-5, 3.79 at Angel Stadium in 14 starts
Putting the E in Defense: The Yankees have made 5 errors in their last 3 games.
The Good Weaver: Weaver is 6-1, 3.86 in his last eight starts. However, he is 3-1 with a 6.11 ERA in five career starts against the Yankees.

UPDATE 4:12: Hey a FOX broadcast not involving Joe Buck or Tim McCarver. What a treat!

UPDATE 4:40: So Eirc Hinske has homered in every game he has started as a Yankee. 3-0 Yankees bottom 2.

UPDATE 5:15: The fox announcer just suggested walking cano or pitching around him...that would be doing us a favor. But it doesn't matter because Cano gets a single to drive in A-Rod. 4-0 Yankees now.

UPDATE 5:47: Well Andy Pettitte has got to stop letting the leadoff man reach base. Brandon Wood just hit a 2-run home run to close the score within one run. 4-3 Yankees.

UPDATE 6:03: I can't watch anymore. 6-4 Angels. At least we have Sabathia pitching tommorow to avoid the sweep.

UPDATE 6:36: So I turned back to the game. It's 9-4 top of the seventh. Correction: 9-6 top of the 7th. Hinske just hit another HR and now the Yankees, like always, will drag me back in it.

UPDATE 6:44: I just know exactly how this game will end. The Yankees will score two more in the eighth making it 9-8. Make the first two outs of the ninth. The next two guys will get on, and someone like Cano will hit a weak grounder to second to crush all our hopes. It's happened too much this year and I can see just see it happening again today.

UPDATE 7:12: Well, I leave my house to get some dinner from McDonalds. And as I walk in I am leaving my car to a 10-6 deficit. I get back in a Sterling is doing his whole back-to-back belly-to-belly routine, and it's 10-8 now. Maybe I should go back to McDonalds for the ninth inning to see if it works again.

UPDATE 7:29: Yankees got quite a task now to come back from thanks to Phil CHOKE! 12-8 Angels, I hate playing this team. I think I speak for all Yankee fans when I say LETS GO RANGERS! I don't want to face this team first round of the playoffs.

UPDATE 7:31: Girardi leaves this bum in the game. 14-8 Angels. Do the Yankees have a rally in their bones?
