TIME/TV: 8:10, YES.

Road Warriors: The Yankees have won six in a row on the road and go for their seventh straight tonight. They have not won seven games in a row away from the Bronx since 2007.
Burn Baby Burn-ett: A.J. Burnett is 5-2, 1.88 in his last seven starts and 3-1, 0.99 in his last four.
Hit-deki: Matsui is 10 for his last 21 and has six extra base hits with 11 RBI.
On the Mark: Mark Teixeira is 12 of 22 with three homers, a double and 10 RBI against Minnesota this season.
Not on the Mark:Teixeira has gone 90 ABs without a home run. The last one came on June 12.

UPDATE 8:39: Four singles this inning, and a two out, two run single for Brett Gardner and it's 3-0 Yankees.

UPDATE 9:07: Well this innings been a disaster for Burnett. Two passed ball/wild pitches result in one run. Then Mauer hits a bomb that Johnny Damon looked like a complete fool trying to catch as it went off the wall. However, only one man was on base so the Yankees still lead 3-2. And now Morneau grounds out, inning over.

UPDATE 9:39: Yankees are good at getting these Twins pitchers out of games early. But now they need to keep adding on like yesterday. It's only 4-2 but they have two on, one out and the red-hot Matsui up at the plate.

UPDATE 9:45: Well he got a hit the last two times with RISP, so you knew it was asking too much for Cano to do it again. Score remains 4-2 as the Yankees fail to bring in more runs.

UPDATE 10:01: That's Burnett's first strikeout of the game and it is the end of the fifth. But it could not have come at a better time as he gets out of a bases-loaded jam. Thats 100 strikeouts for Burnett this season, the first on the Yankees to reach triple digits.

UPDATE 10:29: That does it for Burnett. His line for the game: 6.1 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 2 K. Phil Coke facing Joe Mauer now.

UPDATE 10:34: Well, now we can call him Phil Choke again. Mauer shows his power the opposite field and its 4-3, Twins closing in.

UPDATE 10:36: Well, C(h)oke did half his job and got Morneau out. Now we will see the better Phil...Hughes.

UPDATE 10:47: And the worst baserunner of the team award goes to...Nick Swisher!!!

UPDATE 10:58: Well Girardi doesn't trust Hughes with a man on to get out the great Jose Morales (sarcasm). Mo in for a four out save.
