Yankee Stadium Hot Dog Bargain?

Sunday, June 7, 2009

As everybody knows, the Yankees have an assortment of different foods and restaurunts at the new stadium. But also what everyone knows, it is VERY expensive. My first game I spent $17.50 on soda, chicken, and fries from Nathans. Today I spent $14.00 on a soda and cheeseburger from Johnny Rockets. Well my friend Mark spent $6.00 on two kids hot dogs from Johnny Rockets, and filled up his water bottle that we received as the promotional giveaway, and was able to have a sufficient meal out of it. His two hot dogs were not that small and probably as filling as my cheeseburger and he spent 8 bucks less than me. Of course, in the future most people probably wouldn't have the water bottle, but if he did buy a drink first, it would cost $11.00, still cheaper than anything else you could get for a good lunch/dinner.

Thought this was interesting and a pretty good bargain considering how many people complain about the insane prices for food at Yankee Stadium (although it has always been like that).
