TIME/TV: 1:05 p.m., YES.

The Tampa Bay Rays lead the season series 3-2.

TAKE TWO: After being rained out last night, the Yanks will open up what is now a 3-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays.
COMEBACK KIDS: The Yankees won their last game coming from behind a 5-1 deficit. It was their 19th come-from-behind win this season which leads the major leagues.
PRESENT VS FUTURE: CC Sabathia squares off against rookie left-hander David Price. Price is expected to be the next big pitching sensation while Sabathia has established himself as one of the top 5 pitchers in the major leagues.
NO A-BOMBS LATELY: Alex Rodriguez is 8-34 with one extra base hit in his last ine games. He has not hit a home-run in his last 43 at-bats.

UPDATE 2:20: Anyone looking for updates we apologize we have been very busy today. Meanwhile A-Rod hit his 8th home run before to put the Yankees up 1-0. And Cano knocked in an RBI groundout to make it 2-0 Yankees in the Bottom of the 4th.

UPDATE 2:44: 3-Run home run for Aybar, 5-3 Rays just like that. Sabathia has been dealing all ame, tis is a huge blow for him and the team.

UPDATE 3:37: What a shot by Mak Teixeira. It is only a matter of time before he reaches that third deck. 5-4 Rays now, bottom 8.

UPDATE 3:54: That is as close as you can get on the play at first. Looks like it was a tie. Give creidt to Melky hustling down the line. 5-5 game now. Matsui pinch-hitting for Cervelli. This moves Posada out of the DH spot and into catcher, meaning the pitcher now holds the ninth spot if it should get back to that point.

UPDATE 3:57: Matsui strikes out. Was called out by the third base umpire on a check swing. But they got the break they need as it is tied heading into the 9th.

UPDATE 4:03: Leadoff triple by Zobrist followed by a base hit by Dillon gives the Rays a 6-5 lead. Rivera's struggles pitching in tie-game situations continue. But the Yankees have the top of their lineup coming up against former Yankee Randy Choate. Yes, Randy Choate is the Rays closer.

UPDATE 4:12:RBI single by Upton. 7-5 Rays. And that is it for Mo. Second time thisyear he leaves during the middle of an inning. In the words of Michael Kay, the Yankees are going to need a "rally in their bones" to win this one.

UPDATE 4:19: Phil Choke is at it again. RBI single by Crawford but let's not pin that run all on Coke. If Damon doesn't throw like a girl the runner at third holds or is out at the plate.

UPDATE 4:23: What an awful inning by the Yankees. A-Rod boots a ball at third and it is 9-5 Rays. Posada just threw out a runner going to third to end the inning. That is one inning they would sure like to forget. Dan Wheeler pitching for the Rays.

UPDATE 4:29: 2 RBI double from Mark Teixeira and it is not 9-7 Rays 0 outs and A-Rod at the plate as the tying. There is sure plenty of fight in this team, they don't give up.

UPDATE 4:40: A-Rod grounds out. Posada flies out. 2 outs Cano is there last chance now.

UPDATE 4:45: Cano gave it a ride but Upton made a nice play on the ball. Rays win 9-7, check back with the game recap.
